Marketing your business doesn’t have to be costly

We are all guilty of saying we are too busy to sit down and think about how best to market our business but it is essential to take time out to think about what you are going to do.  Try and spend at least a day a month on planning your marketing ideas, some ideas on your list could be organising a charity event; a speaking opportunity; promoting your services through social media.   Perhaps you need a helping hand to get those creative juices flowing with an initial brainstorm.

You need to be constantly communicating with your existing and potential clients, remember communication is key, whether it is a regular newsletter, blog, press release campaign.  Remember your communication needs to be simple, clear with powerful messages that grab attention.

Before making any decisions regarding your PR and Marketing activities work out the return on investment .  Quite simply, just write down how much it is going to cost you and as to how much business you will need to bring in to make it pay for itself.  If the numbers don’t stack up, don’t do it!
